Not leaving just yet

The US Consulate's "system" is down and we're kinda stuck.
Guangzhou is not a bad place to be stuck but we'd rather be home. International travel is expensive and we're kinda stressed, but God provided us with support from family and grants prior to leaving and now we are able to use marriott points to cover our extra hotel stays. Now all we need is some GF manna:)

We have had two small adventures since last blogging.

We traveled to shamain (I think) island with another family that's from Louisiana. It was a nice visit to the island. We mainly walked around. And today we went to a mall. Arranged for a taxi and everything. It felt like going off the adoption family grid. And before you get snickering rights, you must first try traveling with two special needs gals in nasty heat in a huge city where you don't speak the language. I think the highlight from today would have to be Haagen das.

I'll have to post the good pics once we get home because we just can't make it happen here.

One of the only times our arms are free are meal times so we take pictures:)

We have another artist! Audrey drew these lovely flowers and two bald people: Audrey and Momma she said.

Eva and Audrey are dancing around each other for the most part. Audrey does like to help Eva and Eva does like to sit by Audrey, but other than that they're going to take their time getting to know each other. Which is fine. We're not in a hurry and we're not going anywhere.

Eva is handling everything pretty well but is stressed to not be home and to not be adhering to our beloved schedule.

I don't know why this is upside down but whatever. Can't help creeping on those sweet gals.
