Our day began with Eva losing tooth number three after breakfast.
Then we prepared for our meeting with Audrey's orphanage director. The last part of our preparations was to exchange money for the orphanage donation. We planned to take care of that just before our meeting. It took us a ridiculously long time at the Exchange which made us 30 minutes late for our meeting.
But it was alright. The director was gracious. It was smooth. We have more pictures to show later.
And then we met our daughter.
The little girl we'd never met before but chose to love and to be her parents.
What did today feel like? Something like an arranged marriage.
We're overwhelmed.
Audrey is kind and so bright!
She seems to have been well prepared by her caregivers for her adoption.
She's curious about Eva and Eva is withholding judgment until further notice.
She is eager to communicate.
Our cup runeth over.
